Our story began in 1960. We have been a staple of the Jamaica Plain neighborhood ever since. The Galway House is a family restaurant with cozy booths and new hightop tables. Our regulars have become family. Quality food and a comfortable setting has kept customers returning and recommending us to newcomers for these past 61 years.

We feature quality steaks, generous portions, and a tasty sandwich board that’s great for lunch or dinner. Enjoy our Boston’s Best wings and stay to watch a game on one of our five big-screen TVs. We have a wide beer selection, cocktails, and wine. Fresh seafood daily, including dry scallops straight from the boat, homemade soups, and clam chowder that you’ll crave! The Galway House also hand batters thick onion rings, also an amazing pizza.

We have updated our ventilation system with Trion air filters also air purifiers are installed on each end of the building for added safety measures, approved to keep us all safe during COVID-19. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you soon.
